This is full time, benefited position working 8-hour day shifts typically M/T/Th from 8:30am-5:30pm and W/F from 8am-5pm. Located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo.

What you'll do:

Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, IVs, sterile tray setup, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols, ordering and administering medications.
Med management, working with prior authorizations and referrals.
Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This position is roughly 60% administrative and 40% direct facing patient care.

Qualifications
Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Required Certification/Registration:

Current CA RN License
Current BLS provider through American Heart Association

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
1 year RN experience
Ophthalmology/Optometry experience
Knowledge of Insurance
