The Mechanical Integrity Engineer will be part of the GOM Ops Mechanical Integrity Department and will support the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit in managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.

  • Coordinate and execute Add/Change/Deletes to MI documentation (Inspection isometrics, CML updates on drawing etc.).
  • Coordinate Add/Change/Deletes to IDMS data management. (Addition of CML's, Deletion of CMLs, Idle CML etc.).
  • Coordinate the execution of the GOM Mechanical Integrity Program inspection and remediation tasks for assigned platforms.
  • Provide integrity engineering guidance/direction to offshore inspectors.
  • Perform engineering analysis of inspection results.
  • Determine integrity alarm level of inspection findings per the GOM Mechancial Integrity Program procedures.
  • Perform Fitness for Service calculations to determine remaining life of topside piping and pressure equipment.
  • Develop and implement of integrity recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all inspection tasks are updated appropriately in the IDMS.
  • Implement APM/SAP workflows for the execution of Mechanical Integrity Program tasks.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with implementation of Mechanical Integrity Programs and use of inspection and corrosion management databases, such as APM, for Oil and Gas Production, Petrochemical, and or Refining facilities.
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of integrity engineering practices and familiarity with integrity inspection plans and program execution.
  • Basic knowledge of inspection codes (API-510,570,580)
  • Basic knowledge of project management, cost estimation and value-added economic evaluations
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate well across teams and functional groups.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
