Role Description

As Chief Administrative Officer, you will formulate and oversee the organization's planning, policies and practices in collaboration with the executive leadership team for Memorial Hospital. The Chief Administrative Officer will lead the hospital's management team in planning, directing, and coordinating operations to achieve mission, strategies and goals. The position reports to the Deaconess Health System President of the Hospitals Division.

Qualifications

Master's degree
Minimum of five years in leadership position required with ten years of experience preferred.
Ten years of progressive, senior-level leadership with operations and strategic planning experience in a complex, healthcare organization within the context of a larger system.

For over 70 years, the staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center have worked to provide the local area with excellent health care services. Based in Jasper, Indiana and affiliated with Deaconess Health System since February 2024, Memorial Hospital has grown to include more than 30 specialties with approximately 100 Active Medical Staff in 33 health care centers in eight counties. Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center employs more than 1,800 people and provides medical care for 6,600 inpatients, 254,000 outpatients, and 29,000 emergency department visits annually.

Deaconess Health System is the premier provider of health care services to 51 counties in three states (IN, IL, and KY). The system consists of 20 wholly owned, joint ventured, sponsored or affiliated hospitals located in southern Indiana, southeastern Illinois and western Kentucky.
